Here is a sample from the script using the Dialogic Templating System:

~ SOS

OREN: SOS

- Who is this?

- SOS?

- Wrong number.

OREN: Hallelujah! Someone answered!

- Yes, that’s how text messages work.

set tangent = "how_texts_work"

- Can I help you?

if tangent == "how_texts_work"

OREN: Your salty.

OREN: I guess it makes sense given the circumstances.

- What are you talking about?

- [emoji:confused]

else

OREN: Given the cirucmstances, we should be open to helping each other.

- What are you talking about?

- [emoji:confused]

set tangent = ""

OREN: The zombies… You’re joking right?

- I would ask you the same thing.

- Zombies aren’t real.

OREN: Sounds like it hasn’t spread to you yet… I must be at the epicenter of it.

- You've lost me at zombies.

- ?

- I'm not following you, can you explain?

OREN: Right. It’s been a little less than a week. Communication lines were the first to crash, leaving us isolated and in the dark. Then massive waves of… zombie attacks.

- If communications are down, how are you reaching me?

- Now I know your full of it, we are literally communicating right now.

OREN: Trust me, I wish I knew.

OREN: I first tried my family, friends, acquaintances… Eventually I just ran out of numbers to call.

OREN: So I wrote a script that shoots out a text message to every conceivable number, starting with my area… working my way out…

OREN: I’ve texted 10’s of thousands of numbers and you are the only one who picked up.

- Let’s say I’m willing to believe, do you have any proof? => proof

- How did this happen?

- Do you have any idea what's going on?

OREN: I’m not sure how this all happened, one minute I was writing code the next, everything went dark… and that’s when the screams began.

- How can I help? => new_ally

~ proof

OREN: I’ve taken plenty of pictures, but the internet has been down for days… I suppose I could try it again, hold on.

OREN: [video]

OREN: What the hell? It worked! I wonder…

OREN: Nope… Internet is still down… That’s bizarre, why would it work for this and not anything else? It doesn’t make any sense.

- Lol, which zombie movie did you take this clip from? => zombie_movie

- Oh wow… It’s really a zombie.

- I can’t believe what I’m seeing.

OREN: Trust me, you get used to them pretty quick… and not in a good way.

- How can I help? => new_ally

~ zombie_movie

OREN: Zombie movie?! Just how many zombie movies do you think are shot on a cell phone? This isn't a movie, it's real... I need you to understand that.

OREN: The situation here is escalating rapidly, and I need all the help I can get to find a solution.

- Alright, I’ll play along… for now. => new_ally

~ new_ally

OREN: I appreciate you working with me… It’s been a challenging. I’m Oren… What’s your name?

- [player inputs name]

OREN: It’s good to meet you {{_name}}

OREN: I’m running out of resources, I need to find another safe haven… For now I’m just going to hit the street and see what I can find.

- Are you armed?

- What if you see a zombie?

OREN: I’ve got a small 9mm pistol… And a baseball bat… And just enough skill to be a little dangerous.

OREN: I’m really hoping it doesn't come to using them though... This world... it's unrecognizable and downright hostile now.

- That sounds terrifying, Oren.

- You need to be prepared for anything.

OREN: Indeed.

OREN: It's funny, I always thought that if something like this happened, I'd be able to use my tech skills to survive.

- And now that it's actually happened, how's that going for you?

- Are you finding that your skills are coming in handy?

OREN: It's been a mixed bag, to be honest.

OREN: On one hand, I've been able to use my technical skills to help me navigate this new world.

OREN: On the other hand, I never could have imagined how much the human element would come into play.

- Yeah, I can see how that would be a challenge.

- It's definitely a different kind of problem-solving.

OREN: Exactly. I never really put much stock into strong human connections before all this happened. But now, I'm starting to see how important they really are.

- I think that's a common experience. When faced with adversity, we start to realize what's really important.

- It's good that you're recognizing the value of human connections. It'll help you survive in the long run.

OREN: I hope so. It's just tough, you know? Everything I thought I knew about the world has been turned upside down.

- Yeah, I can only imagine.

- I'm sorry you're going through this.

OREN: No worries, it is what it is. I'm just trying to survive and make the best of the situation.

- Well, if there's anything I can do to help, let me know.

- We're in this together.

OREN: Thanks, {{_name}}. I appreciate it.

OREN: Hold on, I think there’s something up ahead. I may need both hands.

- Be careful, Oren. Don't take any risks.

- Good luck, let me know if you need anything.

- Keep in touch and stay safe.

## At this point we will offer the player the ability to fast forward (for an ad view) or they can wait 5 minutes.

OREN: I’m alive.

- Thank god.

- What happened?

OREN: Definitely was a zombie... Two actually.

OREN: I was walking down an alley, and I heard the shuffling of feet.

OREN: I knew there was a zombie up ahead, but I couldn't see it yet. I didntangent't want to use my pistol, because the noise could attract more of them.

OREN: So I pulled out my baseball bat and crept forward.

OREN: As I got closer, I could see the zombie's hunched over form.

OREN: It was facing away from me, but I could tell it was one of the fast ones. I took a deep breath and swung the bat as hard as I could.

OREN: I hit it square in the back of the head, and it went down. But as I was getting ready to finish it off, I heard another zombie behind me.

OREN: I turned around and saw it sprinting towards me.

OREN: I barely had time to react. I swung the bat just in time to hit it in the face, but it kept coming.

OREN: I backed up, trying to get some distance, and finally managed to hit it again in the head. It went down, but I was shaking.

- That sounds terrifying. => post_zombie_attack

- I'm glad you made it out okay. => post_zombie_attack

- You need to be careful out there, Oren.  => post_zombie_attack
